Jaguar Land-Rover

Car Lifts and Car Hoist by Strongman Lifts

About The Project

When Jaguar Land Rover moved into their new unit in Ryton just outside Coventry, they were looking to maximise the car storage capabilities,  and with over 400 hundred cars to house to came to us.  After discussing double and triple stackers, the decision was made based on the most practical option which allowed great access,  a dense stack capability, and would show off to their very best their collection of cars.

The model chosen was a two post parking lift: The Donnington, this fulfilled their criteria and offered the possibility of made to measure lifts, allowing storage for the extra high Landies with expedition roof racks, Supercars and through to the smaller Classics like the Mk2 Jags.

While this was at the time the largest installation the company had undertaken, we delivered the whole 230 car lifts, on time and in budget. At the press launch, the car storage facility received a lot of praise and publicity  and features in a You Tube “No Time to Die” video with the film’s director and head of stunts.
