Description
The ALNESS is one of our Four Post Car Lift, which can be used for vehicle maintenance as well as parking cars. The vehicle raises up to a maximum height of 1800mm, giving a clearance underneath of 1685mm with manual lock release. (There is a taller version available too.)
The outstanding feature is a strong cross-beam wrap-around post design to give it strength and stability.
The car ramp can have its motor pump unit mounted on the the front right post or the back left post. There are a number of infill options that can be fitted between the runways, the best one will depend on whether you intend to use the lift for maintenance or not. Heavy metal drip takes might be useful, but if you’re having to lift them on and off every day, they can be a chore.
At Strongman Lifts we continually strive to improve the design and features of our lifts. Having been in business successfully since 2007, the images on our website reflect that length of time. If there is some particular feature or dimension that is particularly important to you and your purchase, you should check with the office before making any purchase. Thank you.
Accessories Included
Tool / jack tray – this can be used to lift your vehicle’s wheels off the platforms when used with a bottle jack or car jack. The tray can be used for your tools whilst working on your car, so you have everything to hand. It also comes with a drain plug, so you can catch fluids and safely drain them. The jacking tray is rated to 1.0T, however if you are after the ‘real thing’ then opt for our scissor jacking beam as an optional extra.
Aluminium lightweight up-ramp set – these are removable and can be stored on the lift platforms, ensuring no extra floor space is taken up.
Drip tray set – includes three plastic drip trays that can be positioned within the platform gap to prevent drips from falling onto the car parked under the platform.
FAQs
How does the manual lock release work?
The locks are simply disengaged by the lever on the end of the cross beam when you want to bring the lift down.
Are the extra accessories including in the price?
Yes, all the accessories are included in the price of the Alness. This includes the jacking tray, drip tray set and aluminum up-ramp set. The price also includes VAT.
How much ceiling height do I need?
To ensure you have enough ceiling height to store two vehicles in the parking space of one, the rule of thumb is to measure the total height of the two vehicles that you would like to store and then add 320mm. This will give you the minimum ceiling height required.
